In Memory of Evelyn
One year ago today my friend sent me a frightening e-mail telling us that her niece was missing and even though it was a long shot (they're in the midwest and I'm on the east coast) that we would see her, she wanted to know if there was any way we could help.

A search for Evelyn began in Floyd, Iowa and lasted six days with unfortunate results. Evelyn Celeste Miller was found in the Cedar River in Iowa. She was only 5. One year later, friends and family are still missing Evey and praying that justice will prevail in solving her murder case.

Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. They say that time heals all wounds but I'm not sure anyone/anything could fill the void in this families life that was left when someone took her from this world. Justice will be served to the bastard that has taken such a precious little girl. I believe it with all my heart.

A memorial fund has been set up in Evelyn's memory. The fund will be used to make donations to community programs in Evelyn's name. Anyone interested in making a donation can send it to:
