The shoe burglar

We have a shoe problem in our house. You see they keep turning up in the strangest places. For instance, I open my dresser drawer to find a shoe sitting on top of the pile or I'm sifting through the items under the sink in the bathroom and find a sandal in there. The best was when I emptied the hamper into the washing machine and my husbands Teva went in with it.

I have a description of the culprit:

blond hair
brown eyes
small stature
goes by the name of Aiden
alias: chunky monkey, bud bud, monka chunk, munk

If you see a little person matching this description, by all means, hide your shoes.

Anniversary? What Anniversary?

This will mark the third year in a row that my anniversary has been a dud.

Year 1, we find out that I am pregnant and the morning sicknesss kicks in just as fast as the positive sign appeared. We had Wendy's for dinner and met my closest friends new little baby born that morning. No card, no flowers, nothing.

Year 2, we are too hectic taking care of our own little bundle of joy that we just blow off the anniversary this year. I think I might have gotten him a card. I know I got no card, no flowers, nothing.

Year 3, my husband isn't even in the same state as me. I thoughtfully stuffed a sentimental mushy card in his suitcase before he left. What did I get? No card, no flowers, nothing.

We're at 0 for 3. Maybe next year will be better.

But I at least got to spend the time with some good friends of mine:

Good times.

I am boring

I have nothing new to say here. I work 20 hours a week. I come home. I am tired. I sleep whenever I can. I feel nauseated 24/7. There is barely enough energy left to type this.

Compare and Contrast

I promise that every post from here on out will not be about my pregnancy. Its hard not to become obessive over it though.

I'd like to do a little compare and contrast post though. At this early stage in the game there are quite a few differences this time. This might venture into the TMI category.

Last time:
Sore boobs
Extreme tiredness
Violent morning sickness
Yucky leaking down below
Headaches
Constipation

This time:
Mild queasiness
Headaches
Slightly tired

There you have it. There is still plenty of time for all that to change. But so far so good!
